machine polishing

Post by red6n2 »

i have acquired a machine polisher but i know in the wrong hands there a professional sprayers best friend as there not easy to use and you can ruin your paintwork quite easily

is there any do's or donts ? as i have never used one before, what products would you use with it without spending hundreds?,

any advise will help

thanks,

A machine polisher is a dangerous thing in the wrong hands.

Take a look at this excellent write up.

My advice would be don't just jump in and start using it, think very carefully about what you are doing and why you are doing it. Does you're car require paint correction?

If you need more info PM me I'd be more than happy to help you.

Is it a rotary or a DA polisher?

Ah thanks mate, no there is no correctional paintwork needed, I'm determined to get a spare body pannel and test it out. But no doubt il have questions. So
Il be asking soon :-).
