little bump!

Post by AjayDon »

Hi there. Firstly, sorry if this is not in the right place.

I'll cut a long story short. I had a little bump a few days ago. I was just wondering, is this easy to repair and would I be able to do it myself?
Does it look like a lot to fix? I'm just worried if I have to change the whole thing like suspension and stuff on that side.
It is a brand new VW registered September 1st 2012. Thanks to any replies. If you need any more pics or details then let me know.
The passenger door doesn't open because I presume the panel is pushed back. I've also noticed the bonnet does not line up with that panel anymore.
Thanks for any help!
The thing is, I do not really want to take it to any old garage because I don't trust them lol. I've got to find out tomorrow if the other guy has claimed then I will claim.
But I just want to be a few steps ahead as I do need this on the road ASAP. The thing is, my brother is the main policy holder and he does not want to claim and
his insurance will go high. Thanks once again for taking time to read this.

It looks like a new wing, new headlight and some filler/spray work on the bumper

Probably looking at £350-450 worth of damage there.

Easily fixable though
