Yes, i asked a question on Porka but got the answers here at UKPs. :)

What's it been powering? Box or 6x9s?

Might just be what i'm looking for although price is steep for a 2 yr old....

Can't wait to get my hands on the grille man.

Ordered new rims yesterday...should have these and suspension in my hands by next weekend and then the ICE go's in :!: :)

The wife's never had it so good

Yeah I agree price is steep but the Fosgate's seem to hold their value well due to the quality and name! They seem to sell well on ebay. I think I might have paid over the odds a month ago though - I paid 60 for it.

They were powering my infinity components, but I have switched to a pioneer amp I have for now - need the extra cash and the pioneer is slightly more powerful but not quite as good quality.

The best use would be to parallel wire 4 4 ohm speakers in to create a 2 ohm load. It could run 6x9's and front comps without any trouble.

Would accept 50 quid for it if it was an instant sale. I'd recommend spraying the gold though! It's more than 2 years old too!

Grill arrived today

Fitted it and I am so not sure about it

I'm sure that it would look better with a black badge in the std grill?

Opinions?

So turned my attention to the but end of the car and de-badged it - well just the polo bit - already done the 1.4CL bit as soon as i bought the car

No I'm absolutely convinced that a black badge is going on the ar*e end

on second look - your car looks loads better with the grill - there's not much to separate it from the common mkiv otherwise - looks much cleaner

It's just an owner thing, other ppl will like what you've done but you'll never be to sure because you loved it how it was before! :)

Agreed better than the Silver VW Badge - but I just think that a black badge on a std grill would be subtle and as clean - hell it'll grow on me

I'm torn between clears and MKV rear lights for the rear

Clears - cos it'll blend with the other clear indicators and side repeaters but against is the slightly odd look

MKV lights blend with the clears and get rid of the orange sides - look as clean as the clears and don't stand out as a bolt on IMHO

I know it's been done before but don't mind a bit of piracy if it looks right
