Indicator passenger side doesn't stay on

Post by surferc343 »

I'm having problems with the passenger side indicators. I move the indicator nob for the lights to indicate on the passenger side, but then have to remain in contact with the indicator nob applying pressure, for it to stay on. This is obviously dangerous at roundabouts etc. when I need to change gear. This sounds to me like it's not making the proper contacts. It also ticks pretty fast. Has anyone ever had a problem like this? Is there anything I can do to resolve the issue I'm having.

Sounds like you have a faulty indicator stalk. What model of polo do you have?
