so the 6C taillights will not be plug and play
From your DIY looks like the connectors are different?

Hello Circlo,
First time posting on the forum so go easy with me!
Could you confirm if after installing the below LEDs they require VCDS coding to work as DRL's?
Could you also confirm If you have a link for the connectors to these wires?
Basically I have purchased and installed the R Line bumper (Including Fogs) but there isn't currently any wiring in place so need a solution for these to work as DRL's including the wiring.
BCM Is 6R0937085E.
Thanks in advance and let me know if you need any further information![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Notes:
- Without a doubt the enlightenment to improved.
- Consumption is the same as with halogen lamps.
- With the multimeter on the fuse (SB54) consumption is 5.30 amp +/- 0.05 amp.
- Is heard as fans of the LEDs working with the engine off.
- Power On faster than the halogen lamps.

Remember, approx 2800 lumens xenon, 2400 lumens cree LEDs, being very, very, very accurate, this small difference can be seen in color.
Hardly perceptible.
Caution:
When installing the left fog light must prevent wires or nozzle cleaning system headlight xenon contacts the fan LED.
This will stop and the LED flash. (protection system)
After

Exactly, it's not plug and play, you need to make the DIY... (I will make one set for RHD, only one, no more)... perhaps after i sell it... 30€ plus shipping cost (3-5€ ?).sheFs wrote:so the 6C taillights will not be plug and play![]()
From your DIY looks like the connectors are different?
Info: OEM parts in dealer for two harness (right and left) cost 60-70€.
In a week I will show you more pictures of the connectors for RHD.

I'm seeing the possibilities of your BCM. Also the diagrams to connect your fog lamps and DRL (if possible)JacobGardinerMoon wrote:Hello Circlo,
Please show me a picture of the backside of the fog lights you bought. (to clarify what you need)
This one:

or:

EDIT:
Your BCM (similar to this) does not control the fog lights to static cornering lights. Neither controls the daytime running lights.
![Image](http://i39.servimg.com/u/f39/18/94/39/39/th/captur14.jpg)
But you can install both in your car this way:
DRL: If you have additional lamp in the fog light.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
So you have no daytime running lights.
Your fog lights can not work either as daytime running lights (this is not possible anyway in the vw polo) nor as static cornering light because your BCM is not ready for it.
Your installation of fog lights is easy, as in the previous diagram.
- Pin8, light switch connector.
- Fuse SB54 15 Amp.
- Fog lights.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Just to confirm when I turn on my engine my head lights automatically are on? Is this not the DRL function?
So I will need the wire you have specified? Will this then be able to be connected to a switch? Can I replace the current headlight switch to the switch that includes fogs?

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Right, but is because the connector pin3 of the light switch is connected directly to the main headlights. Turning on the headlights in "0" light switch position.
The problem is that your BCM has no pins needed to manage DRL through fog lamps.
The kufatec harness is right for installation of fog lamps.
You can replace the switch with front fog lights. All will work correctly.

Hi Ciclo,
I'm interested in the harness. Also could you advise where I could get the RHD tails?
I could only find it here and it looks quite iffy:
