Unfortunately not, it just is a first step to run 7E0 stalks with return spring (video), it just is possible with BCM 7E0.

6R0 stalks have no return spring, and it is necessary with HBA.
BCM 7H0 937 090-090A-090B don't have available the channel 54 (checked).

Yes, Polo 6C has new rain light sensor, but it is not the same T6 rain light sensor.
T6 rain light sensor (5K7 955 559 B) works perfectly with HBA on my 6R with BCM 7E0...(Automatic lights and CH/LH, Automatic wiper) ...with all possible codings for both.

Yes it is the same retaining plate.
Remove factory windshield? ... pfff ... not a good solution.

If i remember correctly, the T6 BCMs were indicated with PR codes (this part I'm sure about, lol) but there were different versions with normal and active cruise control
