...can anyone confirm, that windshield from Polo 6RU Sedan fit to Polo 6R Hatchback?
Heated windshield  8) + RLS retaining plate from factory... good for Poland. (it is possible electrically)

I have checked on ETKA online but it's hard to know unless someone has done this mod. The Ref number would be 6RU845011J (it should be measured with extreme accuracy to compare with your current windshield :|)

Maybe your best option would be the windshield from Polo 6C.

Hello Ciclo,
What do you think about Front Assist upgrade I know its other platform. I have checked my current GW and I have option 13 Auto Dist. Reg. The automatic braking would most likely not work with my current ESP. But maybe at least the warning messages would go through BAP to the MAXI dot. What do you think would it be worth a test? If you know can you advise which radar unit would be best suitable to do the testing?

Hi Japfan.
I don't know anything of these issues. I'm sorry. However I am aware that there are several users who are gathering information from all these issues ...
By my side, I have yet to learn a lot about the units for ABS, engine and radar (ACC/Front Assist -city-/etc...).

ciclo wrote:Hi diskoboy, as can be seen this installation (process) is for a VW Transporter T5.2 (7L3) non Bluemotion, so that the full installation for your 6R BMT with external Gateway would be different.

Many parts of your current installation (with automatic lights) can be used, but first you have to carry all signals from your external Gateway to the 7E0 BCM (Internal Gateway)
iichel did this process (installation) under my recommendation to get that HBA system was recognized through IC CAN-lines. (in case you want detailed information about it)

Elsawin or Erwin would solve all your doubts about the pin assignment and correspondence. (External Gateway & other units to new 7E0 BCM)

After that, follow this diagram. IIRC w/o Front foglights in your case.
In ElsaWin.. what model / year should I've look at?

You can also buy it in local shops with electronic parts (where you are buying soldering iron, wires etc.)

or... if you love your local car dealership, you can order this: D 422 S25 A2 or 000 979 950 (however, the price will be several times higher) :D
