New Mod

LEDs license plate lights with light beam whiter. OEM

My R-line is with LEDs license plate lights from factory, however I bought these lights for one experiment..., and finally they are installed on my R-line, forever.

Hi Ciclo,

i have seen your topic about Wiring taillights retrofit 6C to 6R (Plug & Play).
I am interested about the reverse way, i mean: Wiring taillights retrofit 6R to 6C (Plug & Play)

can you please help me to find the correct references of the connectors, contacts and wires positions that i will need in order to build the adapters.

thanks for your help that i will appreciate too much.
Regards.

Hello again!

The coding you provided is working fine and everything works the way it should. I made a change though, as I prefer the cornering lights for CH/LH :) Also for now I left out the rainclosing. Does that work as exprected or is enabling just a "doen't hurt to enable it" thing. I was told it doesn't work as expected in a Passat. The guy that did the coding for me (I currently don't have VCDS myself) was a bit reluctant to change Byte 18, but as it didn't work without he trusted me on this, as I already read that it is working for others with a BlueGT as well on here. :)
So thank you a lot again! No I just have to find a way to make the relay fit into the ... relaything... don't know the name. I guess I need a different socket or something like that.

Cheers!

Bad thing because the problem of button illumination is within the control unit.
Wiring is not the problem.

No problem if you change the byte18 in your BlueGT.

Thank you for providing the part number, I couldn't find it myself. :) Already ordered it and will switch the releay socket once it's there. I like things looking like everything is OEM. :)
