It may only appear to be, but is your cooling a bit covered off?

Lower radiator and intercooler at the bottom look to be covered and I heard 6C grill is also closed.

iichel, are original parts and equal to the originals 6R, but glossy black (from factory, not painted  )

R-line bumper is exactly the same for 6R and 6C.ImageImage

Front PDC? I never will.

However, I just received a message on the mobile phone saying that tomorrow the carrier delivers my next mod. :)

LEDs license plate lights with light beam whiter. OEM

My R-line is with LEDs license plate lights from factory, however I bought these lights for one experiment..., and finally they are installed on my R-line, forever.

The light beam is slightly whiter. 8)
I received my camera with led licence plate but the light is brighter than oem leds. Do you think the leds you posted would result in the same brightness or is the difference between oem too small? I cannot really see a big difference on your picture could you maybe post a picture in the dark with oem and new?

There are hardly difference between the new LEDs OEM from Golf and those one I had from the factory. In the image clearly shows the small difference in the light beam over the bumper. I think the small difference is related to the white background of the lamp.
So I'm afraid you'll have to find other LEDs aftermarket to match with new LED of your new rear view camera. Please, show us the difference of your LEDs.

Last time I recommend, last automatic lights kit for Polo 6R. Only "Model Year"--> D, E.

 AUTO LIGHTS. Coming/leaving home. OEM.

In any case the sale will end on May 15, 2015.

Ah, hydraulic bonnet support, I'll need to read up on that before wife's car arrives, why oh why did VW ever start fitting them back in 2002 then stop some time later??

One other thing, unless I am not seeing correctly, has the "eco friendly" oil filter of old, once again been binned and VAG have returned to using disposable oil filter assemblies? I'm guessing that the extra labour involved in cleaning up the plastic housing and changing the O-rings was a killer for dealer workshops.

System opening bonnet was changed in the restyling (May 2005), i do not know why.

This is the way I set up my gas strut on my 6R, but it is not set in the workshop manual. :)

On oil filter design, I have had all kinds of engines with all kinds of oil filters, most of them had filters "eco friendly". I guess it has more to do with design engine (temperature or other reasons unknown to me) that with ecology.

My 9N3 has oil filter "eco friendly"

for the auto heated wiper ejectors, you write that one needs the 000 979 106 repair wire. how many do you need and where do they go? in the connector to the ejector?

i'm thinking about putting them on the girlfriends 6C :)

Wires with terminals: 000979106E (x4)

If you prefer crimp, the terminals are: N 017 483 5 (x4)

My guide for installation

If you have winter package the heated washer jets are already included in the equipment.
