6R0 907 044 H or higher (H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W)

The highest that I know about is the N. But the most I see the H version

BTW - the new Discovery Media is sooo cool ;)

App connect and everything :)
Do you have Discovery Media in Polo 6R? How?

control and display panel for air-conditioning system climatronic with black background and white text:

6R0907044H

also

6R0907044J etc:
http://www.oemepc.com/vw/part_single/ca ... d/0/lang/e

I think only first models with A, B, C, D, E (up to 2012) has got blue background. Since 2012 all Polos has got black background in Radio and Climatronic panels.

Thanks - my 6R is a 2011 so that might be it has blue background.

I've installed the 7E0 BCM and have tested Golf 7 MIB in the car. It didn't work (of course) because it's MQB, but the Discovery Media from the new Beetle (2017 model I've believe) and the new Transporter works perfect.

The new BCM gives you the possibility to add [5F - Infotainment] instead of [37] / [56].

The navigation part is so much smoother than RNS 315/510 although it requires that the maps is loaded directly from the SD1 card. SD2 is free for other use (music / pictures etc).

The price for a new unit is around 1300-1400 €...

My 6R is also 2011, but it's July 2011, so it's 2012 "Model Year".
ciclo wrote: tenth letter of the VIN indicates the "Model Year".
For example:
WVWZZZ6RZDYXXXXXX
D = MODEL YEAR 2013
(A=2010, B=2011, C=2012, E=2014)

First problem is price.. even used unit is very expensive.
The second problem is the RVC... I have RVC from Golf 6.

But in the future... anything can happen

The model years sometimes start a soon as July of the year before. Model year 2018 can be delivered in July 2017

Reverse camera is no problem. Just use the cable harness from Golf 7. You may have to change + / - but that's it.

Yesterday I've removed my old cables + 3AA reverse camera control unit and added wirings from Golf 7 reverse camera. Works perfect.

I don't have the 2 lines anymore but I'll survive...

Yes, It seems to me that the second half of the year is the model for the next year.
In 2011 I was proud that my Polo is one of the first models in Poland with a black backlight RCD310 and upper grille in gloss black

If I want to upgrade the cluster (currently have the cluster with the small half circle in the middle).

The only way is to find a Amarok and get some custom firmware right?

My guess is that the 6C cluster is a totally no go...

So you bought new unit? Composition Media and Discover Media has got Copmponent Protection. In Poland unlocking this protection costs about 1000 PLN.. :?

6C instrument cluster doesn't fit to 6R, it's impossible:

I have the same IC like ciclo (Polo 6R BlueGT with maxi dot screen/MFA+), but as I remember @iichel has got instrument cluster from VW Amarok.

Hi experts ciclo, iichel, CNK,

After the installation of the BiXenons, I would like to upgrade the instrument cluster in my Polo GT 6R. I found that coding the immobilizer and the Odometer in the IC requires the 7 digit security code which VW doesn't give anymore. As usual, any support from local VW workshop is impossible. How did you do the coding of the IC? Is there any way to get this done?

Hey graaja, I gave my instrument cluster to my mate who deals with VAG automotive electronics. He have a special software for this and don't need any security code.
Support from local VW workshop told me, that instrument cluster which I ordered won't work in my Polo.. :D
