Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Thanks for the link. It's just a little tribute I do my little Polo 9N3.
The right thing is to put the info in the link you give me. I guess in a search on google will also result if someone needs the info.
I have too many posts in various forums and I do not remember many when people ask me questions about them.
In any case, thanks.

Hi Ciclo!
Where did You buy your Blue GT instrument cluster?
Im search for a while but nothing can find.
Im dont like to install the GTI version, because i have an 1.2 TSI (105 ps) i dont need the 280 km/h scale or red rpm range from 7000.

Hi benzinkopf,
Voltmeter: http://www.ebay.es/itm/DC-2-5V-to-30V-R ... 801f7bf622
I can not find the shells, you'll have to ask the seller for shells in order to three-digit voltmeter 0.36 inch:
I bought it here: http://stores.ebay.es/jennyear?_trksid=p2047675.l2563
An image in case you have to show the seller.
If you do the mod, you have to be precise with the measurements. Adjust the measures gradually.
It is easier by removing the central tunnel.
You can find the process here: Polo MK5

When you do remove the central tunnel you need to buy a gear stick clamp and a new hand brake button

No. Not at all.
It is easy to disassemble both parts without breaking anything.
No need to remove the clamp. Images mate Der Finne:
The handbrake button goes off when you pull the grip forward with a sharp blow. Before you must release the grip on the bottom. With a microfiber cloth you cover the button so you do not miss or go flying ... lol

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
thanks mate. will try to get the item.
on the assembly, yes, ive to agree with you,it is really hard to get to the centre tunnel.
ive tried before with no luck. worried that i might damage the handbrake button because i couldn't find any replacement so far.
some say we can loose the handbrake cable to turn it completely vertical to remove just only the console. any idea?

btw, some say we can just loose the handbrake cable and turn it completely vertical to remove the centre tunnel without having to remove the handbrake cover and button. do you think its possible?

But it's very easy remove the handbrake lever.
Fortunately one day I took pictures of the process :
I put a microfiber cloth around the hand brake lever and pulled with a sharp blow forward of the grip.
The chrome button came out without problems.
Another way to remove is not recommended, you can vary the tension handbrake cable unnecessarily.

You re such a good member!
btw, need some clarification again:
a) I just need to pull the square lock below the handbrake(1) and pull the entire handbrake cover out(2) and both the cover and the chrome button will come out as well?
b) the last photo shows two 13mm nuts. what are these for? These are not for the centre tunnel right?

a) yes. right.
b)When you lift the central tunnel the handbrake lever is abutted, then you need to loosen the nuts and remove the lever so you can freely remove the central tunnel. It is very easy, you'll see it when you do. No need to remove the cable.

I think the "old" Blue GT is not will available soon.
If I buy the GTI version instrument cluster ( i dont like to ) is the RPM limiter stop about 6000 or go forward ( i have 1.2 TSI 77 kW)?
