I'm gonna phone them tomorrow... My front bumper got damaged today anyway so gonna grab a bumper!

I can't decide what to do... GTi... Or WRC... surely the GTi is cheaper which could sway me lol.

Both bumpers aren't lower than the standard bumper which is why I want ... The RLINE sits too low for the rest of the car.

Give me advice
Actually the prices are quite similar... And the bumper comes stock painted Candy White. So if your car is that color you don't even need to paint it. :)

Yeah comes in white but i've nimbus grey so will need to take it to a body shop and get it stripped and resprayed!

There's one on eBay which comes with all the washer covers etc. . .and it's £495 so no doubt VW is even more expensive!!!!

I still think Im gonna do it though. . .i hope it's a straight swap haha, otherwise i'll end up with a bumper and can't it on as I need new wings or something :(

I actually think it's cheaper from VW Germany... But then you get shipping and so forth... So 495 is not a bad deal.

And yes. It is a straight swap.

Yeah the eBay guy says his bumper includes everything (washer caps and all that stuff) but he won't ship . . it needs collected and he's in England haha so no use after all! Will get the price off VW tomorrow and report back with prices if they give them :) Don't want to clog this thread up with any more questions - thanks for your help you've been very helpful :)

Hi there

Does anyone know what the part number is for the black wing spoiler things that run down each side of the rear windscreen on the BlueGT, underneath the roof spoiler?

Not sure how to post pics...

Pretty sure they come with some 3M tape on them.

But remember they will only fit properly if you have the GTI spoiler.

Good question, would prefer the blue speedo lights/needles on my BlueGT, is it a big job, dashboard out etc...?

You need to take the speedo apart (which voids the warranty) and then change the LED's that lights up the needles. And then change the needles to blue ones when you put the speedo back together...

Not an easy job at all...
