Hi,
Sorry if this has been posted already.

My girlfriend has got a 2010 1.2 5-Door Polo which needs the rubber door seals replacing, is anyone able to give me the part numbers for this please? Also, a link to where the best/cheapest place to buy these would be too.

Thanks,
Liam

Hi,

Could anyone correct/confirm if "6R2857507AA" and "6R2857508AA" are exterior mirror
  • with turn in light/indicator
  • adjustable from inside (electrically)
  • NOT foldable from inside (electrically)

Sorry for delayed reply

Not Heated
Year -- 2015
I am looking for one to retrofit my 2015 car. However I think 2009-2014 would fit

The part numbers you have are for mirrors, not heated but adjustable from inside - not electrically.
Mirrors, not heated but electrically adjustable do not exist in ETKA.
Mirrors, heated and electrically adjustable:

What would be right male connector for "1J0 971 972"?

I have an A pillar tweeter and i want to connect to speaker or music system so need appropriate connector for it?
3B0 972 712 would be correct one?

Also is this same connector used in footwell light?

Anybode knows a part number for the crimp terminals in the fuse box ? I have a 6C

https://m.aliexpress.com/s/item/2010453 ... 570fA3Jtea

Asking because I’d like to get them faster from the parts dealer instead of waiting for them to come all the way from China.

Thanks!

For anyone that is annoyed by the ugly factory washer fluid tank cap (it is the exact same part that has been used since the Golf mk3 in the early 90s), a nice upgrade is the Audi Q7/Bentley Bentayga cap which is a direct fit on the Polo.

Before:

After:

Can be bought from the Audi dealership, part number 4M0 955 267

Yeah, that has been the most popular upgrade for years. Black looks nice of course, but it is still the same old 90s design with a piece of double folded plastic. At least the stock one is kind of flimsy. The OEM Q7/Bentayga part has a two piece hinge design so it doesn't try to close itself as soon as you open it. And the fitment is much better than the stock one, the lower ring is tighter and the cap clicks more firmly into place when you close it. Plus it's cheaper than the one from ECS

There is also another option used on some versions of Passat which should fit the Polo (looks a like a shortened version of the old stock cap but an improved design): 3Q0 955 455

While speaking of reservoir caps in the engine bay, for those who have the all-yellow cap brake fluid reservoir cap (without level sensor) and would like something less yellow, the Golf mk7 cap is a nice upgrade (black with yellow symbols only): 5Q0 611 349B
