Can anyone tell by this picture if these are the correct ones for the GTI (load rate wise).

If I was to fit ones rated for up to 929kg what would happen (as obviously our cars are alot heavier)

I saw this the other day and knew something was different, just couldn't put my finger on it. Just noticed looking again, the black sections of the bumper, looks great!

Just your original post on this thread. Sorry, made it sound like I passed it when out in the "real world"!

So today I visited my dealer for first oil service. When they checked VIN number there were two recall actions pending: one to replace the lubricant/grease for the sunroof opening mechanism (yep, I was surprised too...), the second one was a software update.

It went nearly smooth... I've had to wait for the car 1 hour longer than estimated. It seems that the software update looped several times and something that was supposed to be done in 15min lasted over an hour. Later the guy told me that they were afraid that they "bricked" my ECU (like you can brick your phone during failed update). I was lucky that it wasn't the case and it just ended in a longer wait time.

Had mine a year today :D Overall pretty happy, apart from the centre console rattle, which VW couldn't hear when it went in for it's service

My car is awaiting to be recovered by Vw as I can't drive it as it has a burst coolant pipe so I may as well get them to fix the trip buttons while it's there, if you get a knife and slip it in the top off buttons can pop them out for now [emoji106]
