Hi folks!

As I said, sry for my english :/ :D

Hmm I understand what you tell me Ciclo for T41 connector, but after I installed old stalks again and turned car on first time, wipers did not worked at first speed and after second ignitioning it worked! So I think the problem is not in T41?

I will try again with new stalks and will see if problem appears again!

It will be nice if you are right Ciclo! :D

Thank you anyway! :D

I had a similar problem with changing the wipers speed and the reason was plug in the T41. You must put it firmly to the end on the entire width.

All wiper speeds are powered by the same fuse/contact ...

Symptoms indicate that the problem is from the T41 connector. However, I am not a diviner, but the 'damn experience' (suffered by others in this issue) shows us the way. :)

It happened to you and it happened to many others ... nobody is perfect. What matters are the results.

another option is, since he replaced the stalks, is that the new stalks are defective.

i suspect that this is not the case, but we cannot rule it out... ;)

assumptions are the mother of all f**k-ups. and i've had a lot of f**k-ups

Here are my pictures of "uncompleted" installing of CCS

At start we have problem with removing of steering wheel
Image

After almost one hour we did it! Steering wheel has been removed! :D
Image

Here is pic of old stalks (up) and new (down)
Image

With T41 connector and T32 was everything 0k, it was easy plug wires in it, but.......
With BCM white connector was problems :/
Image

It was hard to plug wires in it  it took almost 2 hours!?
Image

Then another "problem" appeared, how to pull wire into engine compartment, and came to idea to do that along cable for opening the bonnet..
..and that was not good idea :D the hole is above BCM and it is very hard to reach there with hand, but after one hour we made it!

That's it for now, I must find JPT female terminal for fusebox to finish wiring, and then VCDS coding, and after all I hope everything will work :(

And here is one summer pic of my car :D

Thank you very much for all the information provided.

As incredible as it may seem it is easier (and OEM way) to run the wire to the engine compartment where firegrafik did it. Just remove the top firewall and cut the rubber (ready for it) to make the hole. The firegrafik images are very clear.

However, you are an artist (it is a compliment  ), you may be the first to run the wire to the engine compartment through the hole designed for the bonnet opening cable. My sincere congratulations on making such a feat.

Are the windscreen wipers working properly with the new stalks? All speeds?
Have you coded the multifunction indicator with the VCDS? It should work if you do it.

You can be sure of that.

@ciclo
I'm kind of artist for myself  always different from usual

Stalks are still old, will replace it during this week, I'm bussy with other stuff so need to find time :/
I hope it will work with new stalks!
This coding with VCDS, I'm not familiar with it, so maybe will need better explanation  but first will try to do like you gave me link's for coding Trip Comp and CCS

Yes, I'm trying to maintain it as much I can, now it has over 215000 km, need to do regular service this week also so till then I want to finish all with installing of CCS so can do coding over VCDS. I don't have this program and connection cable, but my mechanic have.

@CNK
then you know what I'm talking about

I also followed same tutorial from Gannu, a lot of pictures and good explained! :) But must tell that Mr. ciclo also helping me in this "painful" procedure

Hello!

I have one funny constatation!
Today I putting around ECU wire plastic isolation and because it is near wipers I looked that internal mechanism is not catching wire.

During this process bonnet was opened and when I wanted turn on wipers at first speed they didn't worked! When I closed the bonnet wipers was working at first speed!

Now I'm sure that T41 is not problem and new stalks will work normally!

It's because you will damage your bonnet when it's open and you operate your wipers - very simple - read your manual...
