Problem, LED's always off , Polo GTI 6R 2013
Re: Problem, LED's always off , Polo GTI 6R 2013
Yeah I know, but which code I need?
cilco tried to give me some codes (and he totally expert!)..
and currently no lights on high beam in 0 mode..
[I used with my 12.12 VAG-COM cable for encoding]

yes i also had the coding from ciclo. so i don't know exactly what to do with coding, sorry. but it is possible

Either codings of previous page is good for your high beams.
You must find the solution to your problem in the wiring, harness or...

Hey
Or... what?
By the way Cilco, friend sent me diagram what do you think?:

Re: Problem, LED's always off , Polo GTI 6R 2013
i've made this harness for a while and it works nicely, the diode will enable the high beam signal flash.
but halogen 10 to xenon 10 + 12 will make the leds flash in many polos.
this can eventually even result in the bcm switching off the leds and tail light on the corresponding side
don't use it

Did you used with Diode in your harness for high beam signal flash?
About the Led's I guess you did like Cilco's diagram..

Re: Problem, LED's always off , Polo GTI 6R 2013
The problem Is that your BCM has not the pin T73a/62.
This pin on BCMs bluemotion and xenon from factory is responsible for informing the BCM to keep the electric supply of the low beams when you activate the high beams.
Would have to look others different solutions to diodes or capacitors.
One relay?

Hey Cilco & iichel
So pin 62 in "plug A" responsible of signal to low lights when the shutters are up, does this mean I have no choice but to use the Diode?
-------------
When I'll make the connections to T/17-SB56 for LED's like your diagram, is it work "smart" like OEM? (100% brightness on DRL, 70% brightness on light-mode or when turn signal right or left in DRL mode see the video)
After this, are the LED-DRL will can controllable from the bcm? (if some day I would like to shut off the LED's as DRL, how to?)
-------------
This video showing product that make the LED's work "Smart", what do you think? I have no idea how they do this..
Here is link to product: http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/inta ... /10000395/

Re: Problem, LED's always off , Polo GTI 6R 2013
Hey Rehfan!
Your DRLs never will work in "smart mode" with BCM087.
As BCM087 cannot control DRLs the solution for your intentions is to install a new BCM090 and the wiring (harness) acording to the instructions from seller.
youtube video is from long time ago. The kit is only for BCM 089/090

Hey Oclic!
I really appreciate your reply!
If it never will work 100% in DRL mode and 70% in light-mode, so what will be the result of "Pin 10 into SB56 into T17/3" you wrote in diagram ? (Also pins 10,12 into T73b 5,6,9,10)
----
Product of YouTube video seems chinese solution in form like external Hard Drive that's probably doing what BCM should do but in other way.
Are you sure it's only for 089/090..?

Re: Problem, LED's always off , Polo GTI 6R 2013
The result is that LED module will work correctly (legal) but without Smart Mode (with BCM 087).
Just like English people is not the same as Spanish or French people, Japanese people is not the same as Chinese people.
The kit is Japanese and I fear that this clever people did control unit software of this kit for the Polo GTI Jap. BCM 089/090
You can see that the 14-pin connectors are on both sides (male and female), therefore control unit will work depending on signals received from BCM 089/090.

Re: Problem, LED's always off , Polo GTI 6R 2013
Hello all
Please I have a problem just with the high a beam
I buy the complete system from kufatec With headlight, special wire, auto levelling and BCM
And every think work exempt the high beam
Can you help
Thanks

Enable byte 11 bit 0 in bcm and check if you have wired correctly T73a/62.
Re: Problem, LED's always off , Polo GTI 6R 2013
What do you mean by T73a/62
I speak about high beam in 0 position (day) because the beam is on the high beam work
And when in position 0 when try the high beam I hear the hidkght open but no light
Thinks

Re: Problem, LED's always off , Polo GTI 6R 2013
Yes, I understand. There goes a wire to T73a/62 from terminal 56a (high beam) to fuse 34. Fuse 34 is the fuse of the high beam.
So if you flash high beam, power needs to go from the stalks to fuse 34. That always happens. Then the power goes from fuse 34 to the high beam lens motors (the clicking).
What you need to add, if you have the correct BCM for bi-xenon, is a wire from fuse 34 (splice) to T73a/62 (black BCM connector, pin 62).
Please tell us, do you know what type of BCM you have? Part number? For example, 7H0 937 090? You can see this in VCDS of if you remove the BCM. The part number is written on the BCM.
