OMG CNK... It's a joke?...

Where do you think all this information comes from?

-----------------

But Benzinkopf (after follow my instruccions by email) just confirmed that we touched the exact key.

Rain closing is related with BCM 45 Channel.... PUT THAT IN YOUR BOOK
ciclo wrote:I'm close to knowing what is the reason because the Rain Closing function does not work on some 6R (despite having in BCM and RLS the correct Bits activated ).

I still need to do a couple more tests, the problem is that right now I do not have enough time to do it.

It would be interesting that someone with a 6R Europe with 'Rain Closing' function will show us the BCM adaptation channels*... perhaps it will confirm my suspicions... :)

How to get the adpatation channels from any unit/address? *Controller Channel Map
(Please, send the adapmap-09 Log by private message)

PS:
I never was interested in this feature due to the Anti-Theft Alarm, folding mirrors and the possibility to enter the keys inside the car :) when it is not appropriate with this function activated (catastrophic failure ).

Maybe it also is related to Byte0 Bit2. If you deactivate this Bit the closing will not be double.
You will only hear a click when closing ... instead of two clicks. One closing motor, instead of two closing motors.

Check it

By the way, did you manage to customize the Autoscan?

Dont u think that the double click close means its deadlock, where u cant open the door from outside n inside? By double press the lock remote, it will deactivate the deadlock?

Yes, autoscan works. Forgot to tell u. [emoji1362]

And?
The tests are exclusively to discover the mystery of the Rain closing (unresolved during all these years in nowhere).

So (IMHO):

1- You should thank and report where you got the help.

2- You should post here a Autoscan. (full and clean)

Okeh. Heres the short test with byte0bit2=0 or 38 HEX in my case.(door locking with single sound)

With the car locked/windows closed.

1. Remote unlock.
2. Remote windows down.
3. Open driver door and close.
4. Wait
5. Spray water
6. Rain closing works.

I can confirm the followings:

1. Rain closing works regardless the light switch in AUTO or OFF position.
2. It will not work with locked door either via remote lock, or auto-lock 30secs and even with deactivated anti-theft monitoring system.

Hello mate!

I really like this! And i would love to have this solutuion myself. Did you create this yourself or did you buy it from somewhere?
If you did it yourself, would you concider making me one for a resonable price?'

Hi mate. Thanks for your interest. Yes. I made it myself. A 3Dprinted ABS plastic. Surely i can make another one if you think its worth to ship the plastic part from asia[emoji23]. Maybe i can just give you the file and you might be able to find nearest 3d printing service around you. But before we discuss further, i need to inform you that it is highly customized item for iphone 5(due to its weight) and lightning cable connector. The phone itself is being supported by the lightning connector. Nothing else. The lightning connector really hold the phone weight very well for such application. Then i just made a small cover for the connector when not in use. ImageImage

Thank you for the reply! I would very much appriciate if you could send me the 3Dprint file. Then maybe i could modify it a bit also to make it work better with the iphone 6. Cause im a little bit worried about the weight of the phone since its only the lightning connector that supports it. Chances are that it will snap or the phone will just fall out of it.

Cheers!

Its simple. Try connect ur iPhone 6 with the connector. And hold the connector up right while hanging the phone to it. You will see how strong the grip from that connector.

PM me ur email address. Will forward the file. Give me a bit time coz I'm away now.
