I cant seem to reset the trip computer or change the time on the car none of the 2 buttons seem to work I ran a scan with OBD11 and got this

17 Dash Board

Trouble codes:
B123807 - Instrument panel insert buttons mechanical malfunction
static
Malfunction frequency counter: 1
Unlearning counter: 176
Mileage: 6225 km
Date: 2016-12-06 09:03:36
Priority: 6

I have looked on You Tube and the buttons don't press in the same in fact the don't press in at all.
I take it is back the VW with this.

The sticking trip computer reset button seems to be quite a common problem. Forum member rm55mcc currently has this issue (see the 'New GTI' discussion thread) and I think Nats148 also had this a while back.

My MFD problem was caused by the trip reset button sticking :roll:.

The car is booked in for next Wednesday so hopefully be fixed when I get it back.
