Buying Advice Please

Hi All,

After wanting a Polo GTI for years and years I've finally decided I should get one in a few months. Not sure on what year I want but around 11 plate. Sure on some extras like DAB, cruise and climate. Any recommendations on good extras? And crucially what should I look for on the engines? Do different years have better engines?

Any advice is gratefully appreciated.
