Ignition troubles - Misfire.

Post by chrispy. »

Took a trip to the Lake District over the weekend - put about 1000 miles on the dials - before travelling I noticed my car was misfiring under acceleration but got worse when driving up and down the hills of the north of the UK.

Got home and noticed corrosion in the 2 rear sockets on the Ignition Coil. Potentially needs replacing.

My question is, to replace one, is it just unscrew old one, screw on new one and connect?? Saw online I need a special puller tool. Is this true?
