yo, just fitted my stubby mirror, ive gone to adjust the mirror to suit my vision for behind, but it wont move further than i want it too
(if you understand me)
does anyone else have vision issues?
stubby mirror vision
Is this a passenger mirror off a LHD car?
I had the same problem with the above type of mirror. Passenger base plates hold the mirror at a more acute angle to the side of the car than driver base plates
So I took both my old RHD driver mirror and the LHD passenger mirror apart. Then I put the outer part of the LHD mirror on to the RHD base plate - which solved the problem.

I only found out my car has a stubby drivers side mirror. Thanks Simon with the red GTi btw!
I always used to look at my mirrors and think, well a stubby mirror isnt gonna make much difference
But this is my first car too, and i dont find visability bad.
But then again ive got used to it since the start so i suppose its different
