Looks really nice Alex, out of interest what are you using most at the moment, this or the ed30?

Cheers joe

To be honest, the polo. I'm using that as the main car as I do alot more mileage in my new job and the edition is too expensive to run lol!

Fitted new rear discs and pads yesterday...OEM of course! The old discs had done 55000 miles!! Needless to say they were spent and not in good shape

I've got another wheel bearing for the drivers rear too as that one is clicking so its all happening!

Gonna try get the fin aerial sprayed up in the coming weeks :)

Well, both wheel bearings are now done, and no more noise so happy days :) Inside race of the drivers side one was absolutely shagged. Was all loose and the grease was almost dried up!

Aerial next :)

Little update...

I changed job recently so it was time to go for something more practical from a work perspective as im doing a fair bit of mileage now.

Thus, the Edition 30 has been sold (shocking i know!) and this beauty will soon be on my driveway :D

Was the ED30 hard to part with? I'd kill for one  Any plans for the 6R then?

It was and it wasn't. I was never a true fan of it being semi automatic and wished it had been a manual if I'm honest. It was a brilliant car to own and drive but I just wasn't using it and it seemed a waste to keep it!

Not really. I've got the rns510 ready to go in, some LED sidelight and number plate bulbs. Might put a set of 4300k HIDs in but that's about it. I've got it more for economy than for tinkering with as I still have the GTI as the toy

Well the TdI has a turbo haha

Ah of course hairdryer turbo :D I agree though manual still cuts it for me after driving semi-autos.
