Changing hydraulic tappets (and rockers?)

Post by littlepolo »

The tappety noise is annoying me so planning to replace the hydraulic lifters at approx. £80 a set. I have someone to do the work for me for a modest fee. Would it be necessary/recommended to change the rocker arms at the same time? I have read different opinions on whether they should be done or not (some say the rocker wears in on the cam and changing them is not advised).

Thanks. I'll do that then. I heard that INA tappets are quieter than Febi.

Febi are generally as good or better than OEM quality. I would probably sway towards them as I have had no issues in the past
