Hey up all, jus pondering how i get my rear spoiler off me motor as it has been askin to be painted cheers peeps!

i believe they are stuck on! don't take my word for it, but thats wot i would imagine it would be!

see if you can carefully prize off at one end and see what you can see! might be worth having a hair dryer handy as you can use it to heat up the glue making it easier to take off!

don't take my word for it, and if u break the spoiler, u can't blame me! 8)

cheers matey MIGHT try it dont want a spoilerless car tbh :/

no they clip into place. there are 6 plastic pins about an inch from the front edge of the spoiler.

if you are painting it be careful as the surface is badly rippled, so unless its smoothed properly it can look worse than the original black finish

apologies!

i am mistaken!

its a little odd, but my old mk3 had a textured feel to it, but my g40 one is smooth! any ideas???

as far as I know all standard rear spoilers have a fine textured finish, so I guess its been painted at some time in the past....

... I redid mine last week after I took it off the car nearly 2 years ago
