this might be a real newbie question, but what is that silver stuff on the underside of your hood ? sound damping ?

Thats okay chap...It's Dynamat Extreme soundproofing.

It looks mint!! I love to have a G40 as a second car... I always trying to look for the rare Royal Blue Metalic G40. I have seen one on autotrader before which has only done 88,000 miles on the clock, but I missed the chance to have it... what a shame.. Nice example there by the way..

Had those plates on for over a
year now and still have not been stopped....just
blends in with all the Polish,Latvian,Czech and
Lithuanian cars running about up here in Scotland.
