Lol nice pic.

Hoefele seem very similar to the GTi ones, maybe a little more pronounced.

Front end of my car has settled more now, looks really good. :D

Cheers.:D I've yet to see yours with the new rims.:)

Nah spoiler and splitter are in my bedroom at the minute waiting to be painted still I just haven't had the time yet.:( Fitting isn't that hard, I tried out a Rieger splitter at one point but wouldn't last 2 minutes round here on these roads so it had to come off.

I'll happily help you out with fitting, just give me a shout.:)

£197.70+vat for the pair, delivery @ £8+vat.
From Martyn@ VAG parts. I'd just double check that they fit a mk4 tho. I phoned up Awsome GTI and they said that Mk4 skirts would fit on a Mk5

mk4 sideskirts will fit on a mk5, only trouble is watch for how many doors it states (for 3/5 door etc)
although the mk5 side-sills are slightly deeper after checking mine against my grandmas mk4.

Votex ones are by far the nicest. very subtle and in my oppinion look standard to the car and should have come like that. I asked in the vagparts section and alan gave me the price. look for the thread there regarding the votex kit.

Dont like the hofele ones at all, they seem to curve.......think they are ugly and dont suit the lines to be honest.

just my 2pence tho.

eh!!!!!1 bloody hell thats expensive, could prob get them sprayed for about 60-80 quid up here. so much cheaper in north of scotland.

Max got his spoiler fitted and sprayed for £100 in london, so i would think it would be around that mark.

good god blimey this post brings back some memories!

those votex ones are still rare these day and dealerships seem to havestop suppyling them for some reason or other (maybe its because the the 16v models of the 6n2 have the same sideskirts as the GTI so they feel no need to make OE sideskirts for the baby 8v 6n2 anymore....shame :(

i still have sideskirts kicking about my parents house somewhere that fit a 6n2 but i never got round to fitting them
