Hi, I'm quite new to this forum...I drive a Vento as my main car but also have a MK2 Polo Coupe as a project car...
I'm wondering if you guys could give me some advice..... When I bought the polo it had a knackered engine. So I found another 1043cc engine very cheap and did the swap myself. Problem is I didn't take note of the engine number before I put the new one in and now I can't seem to see it anywhere.
Anyone got any ideas as to where it should be located? As I need to send the log book in to get it updated.

i can help mate
the engine number is on a on the block above the aternater its on the surface that sticks out u may need to wire brush it cos they corode there
