6n 98 Polo Relay Problem

hey guys im after some help with my relays

my pride and joy simply cut out on me this afternoon, and after much tinkering found out that the fuel pump was not coming on when you turn the key, after testing the fuel pump i know its not that and have checked the fuses. im guessing blown relay? or at least lose one.

my problem is this - where are the relays? im used to finding them near the fusebox in other cars but i dont even know where to look on my polo.

thats where i assumed they were but i cant see them anywhere, the interior fusebox is there but not the relays
