Hello!
Ive had my GTI for about two weeks now and I thought it was about time I introduced myself. I had a quick look around the forum before buying my car to see what was going on and what to look for and i ended up choosing this....
55k on the clock, full service history, all standard (apart from a Golf head unit i think) and a damn sight better than my bottom of the range dead diesel saxo
I want to do a few things on the car so I will be needing all your help and advice. I'm new to the whole forum thing too, so you will have to bear with me im afriad.
Let me know what you guys think,
Cheers,
Tom.

Hey ho, welcome to the forum.
Re: Hello!
Thanks guys!
The work has begun this week! Just had to new rear tyres fitted, managed to drive over a nail Had a brake light issue too, that was fixed with a new brake switch. (Part brand new from VW was half the price of a second hand ebay job!) Picked up front and back GTI badges and two new grab handles for the interior all nice and fresh from VW this morning and just fitted them in the pouring rain, great! Used Tim's guide to do this, made it a very easy job! I'd quite like to put before and after pics up, but dont know how to actually get them show in the thread, any ideas?
