Cheers for finding out how to do this! i went in a polo last week and it had the temp up! and mine didnt.

My Climatronic might be slightly broken as when you start the car up the whole screen flashes all the icons on and off for like 2 seconds!

That's quite normal on the later gtis. Nothing to worry about

Just been outside and turned it on!

Also the chirp on the alarm as i seam to keep leaving it unlocked!

does any one know if you can do any other cool mods? like cluster sweep?

The flashing is a sign of a fault in the system I think. VCDS should say more :)

The only things that you can really do on these are:

temp in HVAC (as per this thread)
beep on unlock/lock
indicators on unlock/lock
different alarm tones (US/EU)

Things like sweeping, auto lock doors, single unlock driver's door etc. aren't available on this. EEEPROM/hardware mods might allow the cluster sweep, but VCDS sure can't do it! The selective unlocking you can't do as the air system doesn't operate each door separetly, whereas Golfs etc have a motor per door.

Flashing was telling me the pressure switch on the aircon was open to ground i cleared it and its okay now!
