My Polo Turbo

Re: My Polo Turbo
Updates:
The car was ready at the bodyshop, but it had no MOT / TAX
So... the law states that you can drive a car to an MOT station, as long as it's pre booked.
Booked in the MOT and set about driving it down there, even though I wasn't happy with how the car was! I was having issues with wiring, a lot of the bulbs wouldn't work, the steering column had somehow managed to break (think it was due to pushing it in and out of the bodyshop) and various other reasons why it'd fail... so I was expecting a fail.
Two pages of fail's later, lol, I knew exactly what I had to fix but at least the polo was home, so I could start some proper work on it.
You see the red pearl / metallic in this shot.
Got it home and fitted my highline rear badge and zender spoiler
Offered up the schmidt's to see how they'd look
Built up my TT fuel flap to match the schmidt's
Next I sorted out the wiring so that all the lights worked correctly, then I thought i'd try on my in.pro all clears, these are the headlights that i'll be running
Found two broken welds on my steering column, which was the reason why it appeared loose, so I got my dad to weld those up and it's as good as new.
That's the majority of the fail sheet covered off now! Just waiting on a delivery from powerflex and i'll be sorted

Re: My Polo Turbo
Well, I got it through its MOT and got it taxed at the beginning of the month
Went to see George who detailed it for me, I'll lash a thread up showing the full process later.
Fitted my team 300 with different horn push (apparently quite rare)

Finally got to drive it properly for the first time in around 8 months! I'd missed the old girl!
