Re: Mandy's GTI
I'm back! Seems like i haven't been on here for agggesssssss!
I've kind of had a couple of months break from the car.
The crash and everything that happened afterwards really took it out of me. To be honest, i totally lost interest in it and didn't have any motivation at all to do anything, to the point where i was close to giving up on it. Recently failed the M.O.T aswell for the most ridiculous reasons ever and mainly just me not looking after it as i should have. I can't even remember the last time i cleaned it either, anyone on here that knows me knows how bad my OCD normally is for keeping the car looking immaculate. Haha
I think i'm ready to get going again. In time for the next show season at least. I have so many parts that i have bought and done nothing with. Including these new Bullet 60 wheels which have been sat in the boxes for nearly a month now. 7j for fronts and 8j rears.
Where the car is as we speak. I need to pull myself together and get this finished!
Got this show plate for the rear too. Not sure whether to spray it gloss black or get it all flocked black.

Re: Mandy's GTI
Mandy, have you done the Golf mk5/6 boot opener yet? I haven't read anything off you for ages! I've got the bits and was just wondering how you managed the electrical side of the golf locking whilst getting it to integrate with the pneumatic locking on the polo?!
Cheers
