Ah okay, the abs pump would cause the esp light to come on as it all runs off the same sensor i believe. Same goes with air leaks in the system as it's related to the tyre pressure sensor which can also throw up the esp light and engine management lights.

let me know how you get on.

Your car isn't in limp mode or anything is it? Still runs the same except with annoying lights coming on the dash every so often?

It's driving just a good as normal.
I drove from Shrewsbury to Pontefract and back last Tuesday, 265 miles and have done 400 miles since then too.
No problems and running sweet as always.

I'll keep this post updated don't worry just in case someone else gets the same issue

Right here goes,
Got my car back from inchcape today, the diagnostics bought up a fault with air filter.
I have a k&n replacement air filter fitted.
They said it needed cleaning and oiling.
They've cleaned it and I've oiled it.
I've just got to keep an eye on it to see if it happens again.
Seems a strange combination of lights for dirty air filter

Ha! Well thats concerning since i've just fitted a aftermarket filter on mine... I had a K&N replacement filter before as well but that seemed okay.

Did they say anything else other than a dirty filter??

Traction Control
Tyre Pressure Monitor

I had the light come on after a tyre change, there a procedure you have to do for it to sod off but when you press and hold it should beep then go, im sure it has the instructions in the manual.

Bit weird the traction control one though :?

Here is an update.

I've just had car in as the warning lights have been showing again intermittently.
It now appears that the car needs a new throttle body, and it's not the air filter as first diagnosed.

Wow thats going from a slight problem to quite a serious one! Did they say what was wrong with it?

I cant imagine carbon build up already, unless its a faulty sensor?

The woman in service just showed me the printout.
It just said throttle body faulty.
Booked in for next Tuesday for replacement under warranty.
37600 miles on clock now.

At least I can put k&n back on when its done.
