SUBWOOFER

Post by CANDYMAN »

Have any of you guys fitted a subwoofer to your cars? If so do you run the Amp from your standard headunit? Are there Rca ports on the back of the unit? Or do you have to chop the rear speaker feed?

I've done it, Buy a RCA converter ( i have the autoleads one )

You have to solder the wires from the RCA to the wires behind the head unit (usually rear left and rear right)

and then you can plug in your amp wires into the RCA converter and install the sub as you would :D

power cable from can be from a little bung under the scuttle panel underneath the windscreen and then you just have to locate it from inside the car...i recommend removing the glove box
