Hi aaygen, I don't know, iichel has more experience with the lights 6C.
iichel, what do you think?

6R with factory xenon have individual power supply wires from BCM for front and rear sidelights.
okay, thank you for the explanation ! I tested by having to disconnect the headlight and it works. I order two LED bulbs W16W, awaiting reception :D

Thank you for your help.

I think later change my BCM for 7H for OEM wiring, if you have good plans I'm interested

Hi Ciclo, thank you so much, info was helpfull, just hope I will be able to order the springs from VW as I am from South Africa and VW always gives us issues on ordering suspension parts, they say it's not for our country.

iichel, what do you think?
I'm not sure to be honest.
I do think it is possible, because in ETKA (the parts catalogue where all parts are listed) there are not many variations in the 6C BCMs.
Most of the 6C Polos are bluemotion technologies, meaning they have start stop. And start stop means that the lights all go through the BCM.
In comparison, the 6R has many varieties in BCM because of start/stop, trim level and factory options. But I cannot find this many variation in the 6C BCM list.

I've retrofitted Polo 6C halogen to xenon only once and that BCM was the 6C0 937 090 and it had all the pins for the OEM xenon headlights and OEM LED headlights.
But the coding was more difficult, we simply put a coding of a different 6C into the BCM and it worked. But this is not very nice of course. Better is to have proper coding.
It was still in the time that VCDS did not have labels for the Polo 6C BCM, maybe now it is more easy.

The most easy way to find out if your BCM does have the necessary equipment is to make a photo of the BCM while it is not in the car.
This way the pins are all exposed and we can see if the necessary pins are present.

Keep in mind the color coding of springs for 6R GTI (SA). Some links that can be helpful (if you need):

ETKA online: http://ifinterface.com/page/page3.php?langid=2 from here http://www.uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?f ... 13#p466570
PR-codes: http://prsearch.planetvag.com/ also in PDF to download http://www.eftermontera.se/pdf_nerladdning/PR-koder.pdf

So you don't have 7E0 BCM?

Take a good picture when you install the LED bulbs and show us please... .

I have for sale my BCM 7H0. Make me an offer, I would prefer to sell to someone with a certain technical knowledge. Image Image
Has markings without importance, they were made with connectors when it was removed and installed several times.

NO. You have to take into account the factory shock absorbers currently installed in your 6R GTI.
Physically you check the current color code of factory springs (color points on springs), also the reference number of the shock absorbers. You need this info.

With PR-codes and ETKA (links I gave you previously) you should find what you are looking for.
