Aluminium pedal covers
Aluminium pedal covers
Hello
I've done a search but most of the results seem to be for the 6R polo.
I was hoping to order some aluminium pedal covers for my Blue GT which is being built this month.
Can anyone recommend some pedal covers? I currently have a mark 7 golf gti and I love the pedals on it!
Cheers

Re: Aluminium pedal covers
Sorry, I meant for a manual
Re: Aluminium pedal covers
Part number I used for my blue gt pedal covers 5G2064200
Clutch and brake covers are easy. Accelerator can be a nightmare. Patience is very much needed with that one

Re: Aluminium pedal covers
Search ebay, etc for MK7 Golf GTi or Polo GTi pedals as they're the same (i fitted some to my GT)
For the acc pedal as it's a bugger to fit you'll find it easier to remove the pedal from the car - 1 bolt holds it in place then unplug the wiring block, 2 mins to remove saves 1/2 hour to try and fit in situ

Re: Aluminium pedal covers
If you can wait 2-3 weeks then this is a cheap place for the pedals - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152206880950? ... EBIDX%3AIT
I've just fitted a set of these to my Golf GT and a perfect fit

Do you have any photos? Can Golf parts be fitted to a Polo? The link you shared has sold out now, but i’d be interested in a similar listing at that price!Robby71 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2017 2:04 pm If you can wait 2-3 weeks then this is a cheap place for the pedals - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152206880950? ... Re: Aluminium pedal covers
I used the same set of pedal covers for a few of my previous cars - MK7 Golf GT, Audi A3, Polo GTs, Seat leon FR - the 3 pedal covers are the same fitment but the footrest is slightly different in the Audi (shaped different at the top) but does fitPoloBlack wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 7:55 amDo you have any photos? 2017 Leon FR
2014 Audi A3 - the footrest has the extra plastic part behind the clutch pedal attached to it

Re: Aluminium pedal covers
No problem
If you don't want genuine ones then keep looking on aliexpress as they sell them a lot cheaper, if looking for a footrest on there make sure it's for a RHD as most are LHD ones
