Re: Rear windscreen wiper getting no fluid.
I hope that you dont mind. I was fidling a bit around the third brake light and I have noticed that the seal around it is in horrible condition thus making water to enter the tailgate easy.
I've jumper online and sreach for used ones, and all of them are in bad condition.
Vw doesnt sell the gasket separately, so yeah.
On your topic is maybe your jet clogged?

Re: Rear windscreen wiper getting no fluid.
I've only ever known about one car that actually had a blocked rear washer jet, it was an old SAAB 95 estate, I thought that my mate was being very optimistic - then it turned out his diagnosis was correct, lucky him.
Back to this Polo, have you looked under the car to see if the washer fluid intended to go to the rear window, is dropping down onto the ground at some other point, due to a pipe being forced off for some reason.

Sorry so to test this, I just park up and see if any leaks underneath the car while pushing the wiper fluid button.

Yeah, check around the boot lid.
Maybe if you open the lid, spray and see if you see windshild washer fluid from the sides around the glass area.

Re: Rear windscreen wiper getting no fluid.
try using baking soda and vinegar with a tooth brush.
Just use the nozzle now and then

Re: Rear windscreen wiper getting no fluid.
A good result then, maybe start buying ready to use screen wash fluid if you are in an area with lime scale problems, I probably dismissed that potential problem as I live in a soft water area, oh joy - well for me!
