Hello - the centre rear seat belt has stopped recoiling. I've fed an inspection camera in and it isn't just a twisted belt.
The VW manual lacks any detail on how to pull the rear seat back apart. Anyone have ideas?

Re: Rear Centre Seat Belt Access
Fold the rearseat down.
You should see some kind of hook on both side notches where the seat folds.
With divided rear seat you have 3 hooks, with backseat in one piece you have only 1 at either side.
Use a large screwdriver to push the hook towards the rear.
Do this on both sides for one piece rear seat, for divided one only the seat part where the center belt is mounted on.
Divided One piece First time pushing the hook can be a little rough.
These are the mounting points Good luck

Bloody brilliant.
I have the full GTi manual and NONE of these diagrams are in it!
