I think for <200 eur you could source OEM installation except the pads from a used car.

This is what I recieved almost 2 years ago.
I installed the week i got it, I haven't had issues so far.
You might need to code your BCM, otherwise adding the female end for the fuse is the trickiest bit.
I believe the pads (made by Gentherm the same OEM as the 6R0 pads) are from a China/east asia only model, the Santana.

Did you ever have any luck?CANDYMAN wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 3:51 pm Sorry for re-igniting this post could someone tell me what these plugs are. I’m guessing the yellow is airbag, Green seat sensor for seatbelt warning? But what are the 2 white ones. Are they both for the heated seat. If so which is the Base and which is the Backrest. If looking from the front of the seat. My heated seat has packed up so I’m looking for help on how to determine which pad has failed. If I turn the seat heat on with 2 lights it shuts down after around 30 seconds. If I turn them on with one light it stays on. HEEEEEEeeeelp
Anyone else able to comment?

Where does the burgundy seat heating pad plug go to? Do you need to change the connector to match up with the one on the loom? I take it the blue one in my photos is the seat occupancy one?Thanos wrote: ↑Wed Sep 21, 2022 11:52 am This is what I recieved almost 2 years ago.

The burgundy connector connects to the wiring loom.
Mine is not linked to the seat it just dangles underneath the seat.

The Kufatec wiring loom doesn't have a burgundy matching connector like that-it has a male 1J0972923 -it's the same as the photo that iichel posted

Re: POLO 6R. HEATED SEATS. OEM.
Hi Guys
i drive a Seat Ibiza 6J SC 2015
Buyed a 6R0959772A Modul and also buyed the kufatec cable kit.
6J0927137AP as switch - 6R0937087R as bcm
I have wired everything correctly - I have plugged in the fuse.
After that i coded byte 15 bit 4 to 1.
I have about 10v at the plug.
When i press the button - nothing happend.
The seat mats are still on the way - i cant test it with the mats on :/
When i want to access "channel 63" -> it says "The channel is not available"
Is everything OK so far?
Thank you for your help

Re: POLO 6R. HEATED SEATS. OEM.
then the seat heating will not turn on, engine must be running of you let the BCM control it.
Re: POLO 6R. HEATED SEATS. OEM.
When I started the engine - there is 11.8v at the plug.
When the engine is running - 12.7v at the plug - the switch does not light.
Did he need the 2.4 ohm resistance from the seat heating to illuminate control leds?
