Running rough

Hello all.
After some advice. My cousin has a 2010 polo 1.2 3 cylinder engine and he's been having some trouble with it. He does 40 miles a day to work and back. It seems to tick over lumpy and struggles to accelerate and as a passenger you can feel the whole car shaking. It has 1 fault code with the engine light on which I believe is po172 and it says bank 1 fuel system rich. I checked all coils were correctly working and put some new plugs in which made no difference. Also done a quick compression test and they all came back between 9 and 10 bar. He's filled it with premium fuel and been using the wynns additive stuff. Any idea what to look for which could cause it? Any help is greatly appreciated
