Hi all, hope I'm in the right forum. I have a 2001, Polo Saloon/Classic TDI. Not sure what MK this is?
My clutch pedal has disengaged from the ball joint of the master cylinder - see image below.
Is it simply the case that the top of the housing has snapped open and rotated 90 degrees upwards?
If this is the case, do you think anything else is missing? I can't see any debris from a white clutch clip anywhere..
Might there have been one within this housing?
Can't seem to find any similar references online.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

Re: Clutch Pedal disengaged from Master Cylinder
If I look up the part I find this illustration. Part nr 38 should be the one you are missing.
OEM part number: 1H0 721 357
Description: Clutch master cylinder support
Edit: Having a better look at your picture it seems although the bracket has snapped indeed. I can see busted welds on the bracket. In that case you'd need to weld the top of the bracket shut once more.
