Morning
I have had my polo for a year now and the passengers side window has never opened. It creeks down slightly when using the passenger electric window switch.
However, this week I accidently left the window down on the drivers side and it endured a good 24 hours of rain. I have had a dehumidifier in the car to extract the moisture, however the car window has stopped working. Initially, when I drove away, the windows would work, but would go down when pushing up, and for a couple mins they had a mind of their own. Once I parked up, the hazards were going off when the car was off. This stopped after a quick run and a mop up of the water, but the windows are now a no-go. They light up when on, but they are unresponsive. I have tried changing the fuse, but couldn't find a diagram of which one to change.
Any idea what else it could be?

Re: Electric Windows not working
Do you think replacing the switch will do the trick?

Re: Electric Windows not working
might do, might not. I can't see what the problem is, could be wiring, could be a swtich, a motor, rusted cable.
