Noname after market head unit

Hi - I see lots of people have installed this. Yes on Aliexpress there seems to be a few sold by Lemon Shark that have the same model number yet they are all different prices and even they tell me they are different. Mad!

Anyway, I have the non bluetooth RCD 310 with no multi-function steering wheel. Does the noname headunit have a built in mic to allow for hands-free?

I fitted a NoName RCD 330 to my 2012 6R nearly 3 years ago now and have had no problems with it.

Yes, it has a built in microphone for hands free and it works perfectly.

I purchased via Aliexpress from a seller called Aidu Auto Technology, they are a big seller of these units.

Make sure that your supplier provides the adaptor for the aerial socket required and that's the only only "modification" needed, everything else is plug and play, takes about 15 minutes to fit, very easy.

One thing I would add, some units ship without the correct firmware that enables the Apple Carplay, etc and I received one of these.

It's a simple task to do a firmware update and everything worked fine after that.
