Cruise control not working after clutch replacement.

Hello guys,

So i bought this car off of one of my friends and they said they had the clutch done around 2 months ago, and once it was done the cruise control stopped working.

He told me that the mechanic he used was quite cheap so he may have forgotten to reinstall the clutch sensor cable or so .

Does anyone here know if this may be the main issue?

The car is a Polo R-Line 2014.

If it is the issue how would i go about plugging it back in ? Thanks.
