JBS's engine conversions usually start at around £7k.
This one is having stupidly large brakes, decent suspension a very good full exhaust system and a chargecooler for starters, so expect it to be more than that.

The car belongs to Bills Wife from Badger5
Its a Golf 150hp engine tuned to 253bhp from the standard KO3 turbo.
He was useing Brembos, then went to 256mm GTi brakes.
Last time I spoke to him he was gonna go for 280mm G60 brakes, although I dont know if hes fitted them yet.
As I say its his wifes car, and is used as her dialy driver.
Its extremly quick, it was only just off the time set in Ian Carvels 1.8T fitted Lupo cup car.
But as said, its been done useing all genuine parts, mounts, ecu, loom. Lupo clocks!
The exhaust wasnt expencive, its the same Jetex system I use.
Times it managed on the PVW shoot was:
0-60 5.43 secs
0-100 13.45 secs
1/4 mile 14.20 secs
Max speed 138.9mph.
The car is fantastic in the flesh, I have a couple of vids of it, but heres the best one.
He did one of mine as well to compaire what it was like before the conversion.

The best car yto use is the cheastest!
You gonna be ripping out the imporant part anyway so theres no point in spending extra cash, cos its got a quicke engine, to pull it out.
One of our members picked up a 1.4s, and fitted a 1600 Polo GTi engine, loom and clocks, fitted coilovers, and BBS splittys all for £1600!!!!
