Nice mate. Can I ask why your choice for a cage though? I've never understanded the concept of putting one in a daily standard motor.

Fair enough dude. It's just to me they don't make sense. They add weight, and if they're the type that don't, then they're not doing their job, but they're not even put in there to do the job they were made for, just to to look nice in a supposingly lightend car? :?

I saw one at Spring Festival and just laughed, as it wasn't even bolted down.

Totally Agree with Tim. Dont really see the point in a roll cage unless its being used as a Track Car.
If a boy racer comes behind you and see's that in the back they are going to try it on every time.

They are not the nicest looking things either. 100% with you for track use though but not as a daily driver.

If i am still going ahead with the cage idea it will be a saftey devices cage, so not ur non bolted down chrome mega heavy crap ones!

Not bolted down, really lol?

I only want one as it will be for show more than designed for track, im just abit gay like that ha,

But im in the process off making a non adjustable rear turret brace atm, i made an adjustable one wich just pushed the top of the suspension out and didnt work lol!

So a solid bar will replace it now!

If i had 20v action id deffo cage it so boy racers would try it then i would be like oh know, look at you cry as i beat you lol!

plus its soethin different. every car has front and back seats and that makes it stand out a bit more. and show cages weigh nothin at all a bit less than back seats actually imo so savin weight :D

everyone does have ago but just show em the road like me lol.

Ha, no camo stuff for me just a change in colour, with maybe a gti logo in the corner very small tho!
Or even uk-polo.net!

Coilovers where a good buy for me as i really need it lower than 60mm, and being A.P there gona be pretty coolie!

Good stuff. I'd have bought new top mounts anyway, simply because its soooo much easier to do when the opportunity is there (i.e. when the suspension is off the car!).

Post some pictures up when they're on! :D
