It's not the bonnet that has the notch in its the bumper. Need it plastic welding but going to wait until i get the bumper smoothed and the bump strips colour coded :)

Not really feelin' the new color on the wheels... To dark and purple for my taste.

But nice looking car :)

thought i reconigsed that when i started on the thread when you colour coded the strips, walked past and thought how nice those wheels look aha. was at the fast show at the weekend. i really like how the purple and red go together quite well. not too dark, just right in my opninon!

looking for more mods? get the black gti headlamps, will make it look a bit meaner, and maybe colour code door handles?
personally the purple is ace, not the gold tho, id swap it for something more subtle matching, like pink or a lighter purple maybe?
just my 2 cents :P

Hi,

How did you fit the splitter? Did you leave the existing OEM "splitter" on and screw directly onto that part?

Please let me know. Mine is on order from my local VW dealer in south africa

sorry just seen this yeh i just fitted it to the bottom of the bumper :) went straight on but had to cut the sides down :)
