I have the 8IU lights (LED plus) I have also activated the Dynamic light assist via OBDeleven. Works like a charm. I think the LED plus are the same like IQ lights, same module with Matrix LED.
I can't find the photo what is included in 2GA941653A and 2GA941654. They probably come without the cables?

spajk please follow/write in your thread, IMHO I think the info of your mods is better there for future information searches for other users. Thanks a lot!

I agree with Master Ciclo, Spajk kindly pursue the OEM led light bars on grill further in your thread. It would definitely interest me and other T-roc owners.
Sometime back I had read in German or UK T-roc forum, I don't exactly remember where. The members were discussing about disabling the factory fitted led bars in front grill using adaptations. I don't find that thread now, If I find I will share.

Thanks for sharing dear Master, I found it to be very usefulciclo wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 12:24 am Keyless Entry To REAR DOORS
In case you need it, here is this super tutorial:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOQrxpXXCC8
In the video description you have videos of some tests and how to code the Kessy rear handles.
I will club rear door kessy handles along with PLA wiring for rear sensors and other mods so as not to remove the same trims multiple times
Many parts are ready to fix, but not getting enough time due to hectic work schedules!

Footwell lights: Testing
No footwell lights in my T-roc, but VW was kind enough to provide atleast empty slots to retrofit these lights
Passenger side:
Driver side:
Bought these aftermarket lamps( 3 leds per lamp) from AliExpress to test.
Wiring diagram:
I see a problem here, t73a/72 is already occupied by a wire in my T-roc. Isn't it supposed to be t73c/72 for footwell lights, the slot is empty. Is it a mistake in Wiring diagram or am I missing something here.

My dear Doctor, in Magiclands we never underestimate the power of double identification or the consequences of being affected by being mere mortals.

White led footwell lamps test : Success
+30 ( pin 72 ' C ' connector)
GND
I used the 2nd set of coding posted by Master Ciclo from Golf forum. Spot on
viewtopic.php?p=573840&sid=b71d7dd78829 ... 26#p573840
As a footwell lights, the leds illuminate with Max intensity. As a ambient lights, the intensity can be adjusted by dedicated slider from MIB( OFF to 100%) Even at 100% the intensity is around 80% of footwell lights, may be to differentiate between footwell and ambient lights. These lamps with 3 leds have very good brightness
Next test: Multi colour lamps, aftermarket, bought from AliExpress. Seller said these will work with supporting BCM without need for emulator. I will also test these and post the results.

Bumper cutting tool for PLA brackets (26.5mm)
The OEM PLA brackets of T-roc are 26.5mm in size. My dealer doesn't has the oem PLA cutting tool and they use drill to make holes, even for regular parking sensors.
The VAG original cutting tool ASE895003 is expensive. If only for 95€, I would have purchased it but then shipping costs + duty will easily cross 200€, which I felt is not worth the money.

I got it custom made from a wonderful AliExpress seller, luckily she knew English and immediately understood what was my requirement. In a weeks time, the customised 26.5mm tool was manufactured and shipped all for 35$ !!. Quality is excellent and makes perfect hole of 26.5mm

Made full bite in
PS: Post edited to add AliExpress link to the tool.

For a good fixing of the supports and if you use the staple method , which is similar to the original method, test it on a piece of plastic before doing it definitively on the original bumper.
---
I'm not sure, but maybe I'll use the T73c/72 pin again (or any other pin that is available and adaptable in our BCM High) to increase the lighting with 'additional' white led lights when I have to vacuum the mats in places with low lightning.

Thank you dear Master for the links to your PLA projectI saw your unique method to staple the brackets to bumper. I will give it a try and see if I can reproduce the same results you've achieved.ciclo wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2023 5:32 am

I am planning to get my PLA brackets fixed to bumpers at my dealer. Reason being, last time I injured my fingers while removing the rear bumper for BSD radars installation, inspite of being very carefull. Due to nature of my work, I can't afford to injure my fingers, they need to be immaculate to maintain surgical prowess.
I will be visiting my dealer soon for the job, will post the updates whenever I get time.
Also, I need some guidance to test the multicolour footwell ambient lights. Can I use your adaptation set posted here? viewtopic.php?p=581341#p581341

Yes, you can use the adaptation I posted for the lighting of the multicolour footwell ambient lights, that way everything works when it should, that is, everything lights up, goes out or stays at the correct values when you open/close and during the operation of your VW.
I seem to remember that most of those adaptations I copied from the adaptations that Slavik made on his Super Golf.
