Okay firstly i appologise. I kinda neglected this forum when i first offered this GB. So i will try again.
So the group buy is now now open for the Enfig Perfect Fit S2000 Antenna Mast. Now these antenna are different to the honda civic ariels in that the antenna looks like a Honda S2000 antenna but the bottom is smaller in diameter so it will fit flush on many OEM bases
Price of antenna will be £18.50 delivered. There is no scope for any further price reductions as the antenna have a high trade price. The RRP for a single antenna to the UK is £35 so you will be saving nearly 50%
Can accept personal cheque or debit/credit card thru Paypal (please note there is a 4% charge for Paypal)
I am looking for around 7-8 members for this GB to go ahead so if people would like to register their interest and we will see how it goes.

I will take a gamble on this one and hope that it will fit my Polo GTi aerial base - I *believe* the thread is the same but I don't know for sure. If it doesn't fit I will have to sell it on or buy a new Golf GTI
My parents have a Bora, my sister has a Bora, my sister's bloke has a Golf mk5 SDI, it'll find a home
Count me in:

As of this morning I can confirm that this aerial
definitely fits the Polo 6NF - I've got one on my GTi now!
No more Richbrook "anti-theft" aerial for me - it's already sold to a guy at work
Thanks Zeke!

Got a picture fitted to your GTI m8? Should do the 6N2 in that case as well?

Yes it will fit the 6n2, which has the same aerial base. The pics, taken about 2 minutes ago:
Sorry about the rain but I can't do much about the weather
IMHO it looks infinitely better than my old Richbrook aerial - I've got high-res of both images if you
really want them...
Cheers

looking good Si. How long did it take to arrive and what is the reception like? Do you notice any problems picking up radio stations!

Mat,
The aerial took a couple of days to get to me via first-class post from Zeke, so no worries there
Radio reception actually seems to be stronger than it was with the Richbrook aerial, all the radio stations I've got set up on the first 6 presets are coming in strong and clear - Radio 1, 2, 4, Radio Shropshire, Kerrang and Beacon
Looks good, does it's job, top banana

Looks sweet, thanks for the pics, sorry to trouble, got one of the car overall showing it fitting, from a bit of a distance, lol, thanks m8
p.s. fitting is removal of inside room trim?? or just untwisting from outside (bolted on no??)

The aerial base is secured to the car. The aerial itself can be unscrewed from the outside of the car and replaced with a different one - 30 second job
No trouble to get the pictures
