i want to remove it a nd make it flush, is this hard work, and how do i go about doin it.

Easy.
Remove the wiper are you are left with a hole.
Go to halfords and pay £0.97 (ish) for a pack of two rubber gromets.
Pop it in.
Job done

Fantastic guide!
I still prefere it without the cover more though, as I think it looks a lttle smoother.
But thats only as wiper is attached on the window, without the bracket thats on the Polo.
Thats such a great way of doing a Polo.

Just to get back on topic again...
Only the Mk5 Polo has the 'hole in the window' option, the Mk4's are all cursed with the big oval cutout that requires a big blanking plate.
If only..!

My rear wiper simply falls out
well... the wiper blade part isnt clipped on... as its broken
but its spring loaded so it stays on.
